What a great evening!

Had a fantastic time at Basement Jam last night - thank you so much to Rachel and Pete for allowing us to come. Music was awesome - blown away by Foy Vance as I've never seen him before (want to hear alot more!), Mikey was great, Simon has so much enerygy he rocks!!! Rachel and her band were tight and sounded great (really good songs) and Pete was just the rock God he is. I'm always in awe when he performs.

Here are some piccies - had a great vantage point and the beer was cold.

I hate you since you got to go.
Kidding.
Thanks for the pics. I've only seen Pete once with the Who back on August 27th, 2002 and it was the best concert I ever went to. I've always wanted to see him perform his solo work though. Pschyoderelict is a criminally ignored album in my opinion. A classic.
Again, thanks for the pics.

Thanks for sharing these, Steve. I wasn't able to view in Kalamazoo. Was just neat knowing something was going on that people could enjoy. Made Sunday feel like a Sunday, and yet I know the folks performing will probably have a long week ahead given they missed out on a Sunday.

Wordy, but I feel glad for you, that you could go. The audience, tho, if I may say, strkes me as having no idea what to do with themselves. As bloggers, they had something in common. I hope folks said hello to each other and we not simply waiting patiently for the grand poo-ba to say hello. Wasn't the performance enough in his own digs? Goodness me.

ta very much.

Steve, Great pics! I only caught the first five minutes of the show before it disappeared forever so I am grateful for these photos!!! Do you have one of Rachel wearing orange?

Peace, Seychelle

Thanks for this post.
As I told Gary, it is a much needed vicarious thrill.
What a great experience.
I'm a believer, tho I didn't get to see most of show. Too many people logged on. But that proves there is an audience for this type of gig. But as Pete says, there is no replacement for seeing a live performance. I'm lucky. I have seen The Who numerous times throughout the 70's, 80's & 90's.
I saw Pete solo in 93.
I look forward to a Rachel Fuller tour in the spring or summer of 06.

Hi Steve,

Enjoy your pics, they're good!
So sorry we didn't get to meet each other.
Then again I must admit that some people were so different in real life from my mind's images, that I had trouble placing them.
My regret: not taking the time to follow the cue to the end to see all the bloggers instead of just the early arrivers.
Thanks for your comments on my pics!
