Beaulieu, 3rd July 2006

The gig last night (again) was so much fun. The band are getting better and better every night!! The audience was really boring for Casbah Club (heard alot of people saying, oh yes, that's Pete's son's band!!!) but they rocked big time. After their set I was lucky enough to meet Bruce Foxton and have my piccie taken with him (no photoshopping here!!). What can I say about the Who? Just brilliant.

Hi Steve,
What great pictures you took! I keep hearing they're in top form, and this is making we mucho excited for Berlin- especially now that they've downgraded to a smaller venue.

Thanks for posting them. Very nice. Is that it for your Who adventures, or are you going to more gigs?

Cheers,
AM

Hi Steve, yes it sounds like we've both been to the same gigs. Your photos are really good. What camera? It's a shame that you couldn't have made more use of your backstage pass at Brighton. I thought that the banter from Pete at Beulieu was great. Although Roger throwing a tantrum was not too good but I suppose that he was only thinking of his throat. Yes, we plan to go to the Greek restaurant. I've put some of my photos up on my Blog so pop over and have a look. See you soon. Mark

You jammy bugger!

That's a great photo, and he is the nicest bloke. I met him a couple of times back in the day and he was always very friendly. Paul could be a bit moody, but never Bruce or Rick. I wish they could reunite, but it will never happen, and actually, I'm liking Simon T's stuff better than Weller's lately. Bruce may indeed have the last laugh.

Thank you for sharing that with me.

Hi Steve,
I'm back! great pictures! I'm sorry that the audience was boring while Simon was performing. At least we don't only know Simon as "Pete's brother" He is, but he's so much more than that. I hope to see Casbah Club live someday.

Hi Steve, Your photos are brilliant, and your words too. I'm happy for you that you've been there! I've been experiencing the European tour virtually and loving it.

The thought of seeing Simon play live is almost as exciting to me as that of seeing the Who!

Read your post on Rachel's blog, hope you are keeping your chin up. The music helps, doesn't it? and the general communion of good people surrounding the Attic.

Hugs,
Brina in Minnesota

Hi Steve:

In first place, please excuse me, I'm spanish and my english is very bad.

Nice pictures...

I'm sorry that the audience was boring while Casbah Club were playing... I was in The Who's concert in Madrid and Casbah Club were amazing... but they play only 40 minutes and I want more CC.... I think the audience in Madrid liked a lot CC, everybody was happy in that concert. And the spanish press wrote beautiful articles about The Who and and a small and positive commentary about CC.

Cheers from Spain
